Little People

Clayton lost his first tooth this weekend and can all of a sudden ride a two wheeled bike without training wheels. Preston and Addison both love the four-wheeler now and ride by themselves. Preston even does tricks putting one foot up on the seat while he's driving!

Clayton is working on his first pair of lace up, tie shoes. Addison isn't making as big of a mess at meal times feeding herself. Preston can put his own straw in Capri Sun pouches. The boys are taking showers instead of baths now and Addy can put her head all the way under the faucet by herself to get the soap our of her hair.

Addison sits relatively still and lets me paint her finger nails, goes straight to sleep by herself in her big girl bed, and can put her shirt on by herself. Preston remembers almost all the words to his favorite songs on Air1 and can belt them out for you. Clayton knows how to use my cell phone almost better than I do. And even though he can irritate his siblings like nobody's business, he is a good big brother.

Clayton has his own opinions about everything from the clothes he wants to wear to his daily schedule of activities. I bugs him that Preston imitates him at times. And Addison adores them both, but when she's had enough, she'll let them know.

They are amazing creatures. Billy and I will at times watch them while they sleep and marvel at the people they are becoming. It still amazes me that there were no people and now there are people. We made people.

God is good.
