I love it when you hear a song, see a long forgotten friends doppelganger, or run across photos of things and people from days gone by. It's even better when those things make the corners of your mouth turn up and make your heart just jump.
My best friend from high school made me a lap board and added some of our favorite photos to it. That was 20 years ago. Looking at the old photos, my children thought that Kimberli was my sister, Heidi. I never saw the similarities until they asked.
Most all of the people in those photos have children now too. I hope that they all have the kind of growing up that we did, surrounded by laughter and acceptance and good things, really good things.
